Have you experienced times when you’ve thought about someone, and moments later they’ve contacted you? This is an amazing story about telepathy and the incredible power of thought! Telepathy can be explained as: the ability to transfer thought by means other than the five basic senses, and the ability to read thoughts and stored information, in the brain of others.

Does this mean we have our own wireless networks, with two distinct features; sending and receiving thought?  I hope this story encourages you to further explore telepathy and the incredible power of thought.

I was living and studying in Manhattan, enrolled in a Master’s program. I was studying human development and family counseling. I started wondering what happened to Janet and Alice, my two childhood friends whom I hadn’t seen in over fifteen years. Alice was the daughter of my mother’s best friend who we visited a lot, after my parents divorced. Janet lived in the house next door. She was my best buddy. I was always at her house playing, especially during the week when my mother was at work.

My mentor, Ruth, extended an invitation for me to join a meditation and visualization group, she was offering in her home. I was studying Gerontology and the class was created for Senior Adults. After our first class, I noticed two women, Loretta and Loraine, sitting close to one another, leaning with their backs against the wall. They reminded me of me and Janet, which I told them. They said they’d been friends since they were kids. I said, “I am looking for my childhood friends, Janet and Alice, who I haven’t seen in over fifteen years”. We spoke for a few minutes and decided to meet at a cafeteria for lunch to continue our conversations. I had to see a client for my internship, and we agreed to meet in an hour. Arriving as planned, I spotted them sitting at a table, and went to stand on line to order my lunch.  Standing right in front of me was ALICE! Can you imagine…? We spoke for a bit and I brought her over to meet Loretta and Loraine. They were my witnesses, sharing this moment of glory.

I asked whether she had seen Janet, even though they were not close friends growing up.  As fate would have it, Alice’s father, an Estate Attorney, had recently helped Janet’s mother, after her husband, Janet’s father passed away.  Alice said she would send me Janet’s mom’s phone number. I called Bev, Janet’s mother, as soon as I got her number. Bev was shocked and delighted to hear from me. She took me under her wings, after my mother died. I was eight. My father moved into our house, where we remained another four years.

Bev told me Janet was living in Philadelphia and gave me her number. I phoned immediately. How would you react if your long lost friend called? The comfort and familiarity remained even though years had lapsed.  As we were hanging up I heard myself say, “Mark my words. I will meet you on the streets of N.Y., soon!” “But, I live in Philadelphia” she said. “Mark my words” I repeated.

No more than a month later, Ruth asked me if I would pick up some books she ordered, at the Columbia University Book Store. I told her that I would be happy to get them. It was a beautiful sunny morning. On my way home for some reason, I decided to cross Broadway. Coming towards me, about a half a block away, was JANET!  I stood fixed in the middle of the block with my arms crossed.  I was amused and pleased. When Janet got close enough to recognize me, she blurted some expletives. “I told you I would meet you in N.Y.C, soon”, I said. She told me that she and her guy were on their way back to Philadelphia, after visiting friends in Vermont. On a whim, they decided to stop in the city. She got up early, which Janet doesn’t usually do, and for some reason decided to walk uptown on Broadway, to get a cup of coffee.

Though I had prior telepathic and psychic experiences, reuniting with both of these women, my childhood friends, was the first time I remember focusing and making my thinking deliberate. It was also the first time my wishes manifest and I realized the interrelationship between telepathy and the incredible power of thought.
