Intuitive Readings Regarding Work

Sometimes people come  for intuitive readings regarding work. The sixth sense is like a clean slate. I ask for as little information as possible. Less is best. Without any prior knowledge of the person or the situation, the information I spontaneously hear, empowers momentum for change.

Thinking about pursuing a new profession or broadening a scope of work is daunting, even for someone successful and famous, like the man who came to see me. Here is his remarkable story.

A man came for an intuitive reading regarding work. Unbeknownst to me, he was prominent and renowned in his field. I took his hands, closed my eyes, and spoke. “E is a playwright of screen plays. He has written many comic tragedies. It is time for him to direct. He needs to sit in the director’s chair. There is a new project in the making, and for some reason I am hearing that this new project is a revision of a classic children’s fairy tale.”   I opened my eyes and asked if the reading was accurate.

Astonished, he paused, regrouped, smiled at me and said, “Yes, I have just won an Academy Award for a screenplay I wrote! It is about an Amish boy who witnesses a murder.  I have been writing for years, and you are right, and I do want to direct some projects.” he continued, “I am actually collaborating on a new project which just happens to be a fairy tale. It is a revision of Cinderella!”

We talked further about work related issues. Moments after our session ended he returned bringing his wife to me for an intuitive reading. It was an honor and testimony to the power of what comes through us via the sixth sense.

My decision to relocate from New York to California to work as an intern with John Grinder, Co-Founder of N.L.P. was an extremely difficult one to make. I struggled worrying about leaving a secure job, my family and dearest friends. It was like starting another life 3000 miles away from home.

And then I had a dream with a message in Spanish!  I bolted awake and wrote down the words I remembered; viviente sueno, without a clue what they meant. My only exposure to the language was in grammar school, nearly twenty years prior. Suffice it to say, the message told me to live my dream, which was to pursue the internship.

Abraham Maslow wrote, “Therapy of any sort is a means of restoring a person to the path of self-actualization and development along the lines dictated by their inner nature”. When the four basic needs have been satisfied, the growth need or self-actualization need arises: A new discontent and restlessness will develop unless the individual is doing what he individually is fitted for. A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write–in short, what people can be they must be.”
